2007-08 Audi Q7

Audi Q7 was introduced for the 2007 model year. The engine choices included a 280 hp 3.6-L V6 or 350-hp 4.2-L V8 engine, both mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

2009-10 Audi Q7

The diesel-powered Q7 TDI was added in 2009. The base 3.6 model received some feature updates, standard premium sound system, satellite radio, telescopic sun visors, and trip computer.



2009 Q7 with the 4.2-L V8 engine earned a cleaner ULEV tailpipe emission rating and its fuel economy was improved slightly. A new 3.0-L turbodiesel V6 delivered 225 hp and 406 pound-feet of torque.

In performance tests, 4.2-L V8 went from 0-60 mph sprint in 8.4 seconds and about 10 seconds for V6 powered Q7.

For 2010, Q7 sees a slight refresh with the inclusion of revised rear and front fascias, new wheels, and revised headlights. The power-train and drive-train remains same as that of 2009 Q7 models.

The fuel rating of Q7 TDI stands at an impressive 17/25/20 mpg, while other models are rated to provide14/18/16 mpg.
